Summary

Accounts Assistant
Full-Time & Permanent
Swansea
£25-30,000 per annum

This is a great role for an experienced and IT-savvy Accounts Assistant, with plenty of Purchase Ledger experience. Working from a very well-appointed office on the outskirts of Swansea, the successful applicant will be responsible for a high-volume Accounts Payable function, with multiple monthly payments runs, bank reconciliations, journals, pre-payments and accruals, as well as monthly depreciation work. You will need to have experience of most, if not all, of those tasks and exposure to an ERP system (such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage Intacct or 200), as well as excellent attention to detail, a superb work ethic, high levels of numeracy and a good understanding of the principles of double Entry Bookkeeping. Confidence in the use of MS Office Excel is also highly desirable.

This position will be 100% office-based and is not suitable for hybrid or remote working. This role does not offer sponsorship, so you must have unlimited leave to remain and work in the UK in order to be considered. You will require significant experience in a finance team as you will be providing direct support to the Finance Manager; as such, this role is not suitable for someone looking for an entry-level position.
