Summary
Role: Vehicle Technician
Location: Cumbria
Salary: 40k + 2k sign on bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.15 – 5.00, Saturday on a rota
Vehicle Technician / Car Technician / Mechanic / Motor Technician - responsibilities:
• Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Completing vehicle health checks and documentation accurately.
• Liaising with service advisors and ensuring clear communication with customers where needed.
• Upholding manufacturer and safety standards across all tasks.
• Mentoring junior technicians where appropriate and leading by example.
Vehicle Technician / Car Technician / Mechanic / Motor Technician – about you:
• Experienced Vehicle Technician level qualifications
• Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a franchised dealership.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
