Summary

About the role:

This is a chance to step into a role that has the power to transform lives. At Single Homeless Project (SHP), our Health Team has expanded and strengthened over the last five years, and we are now looking for someone who can help drive its next stage of growth. Working across our hostels, TST and Housing First services, you will be at the centre of a service that brings health support directly to those who need it most, removing barriers to care and giving people the tools to take control of their own wellbeing. Leading our Specialist Health Leads, you will guide a team who are pivotal in helping clients recognise their health needs, engage with essential services and build lasting independence. Alongside this, you will forge strong working relationships with GPs, nurses, occupational health professionals and psychologists, ensuring that our clients are supported by the very best of both SHP and our external partners.

No two days will be the same. You will combine leadership with hands-on collaboration, from supporting staff development to building partnerships, to ensuring our approach is informed by robust data. Collecting, analysing and presenting this information will be key in demonstrating our impact, shaping practice and strengthening grant applications with our fundraising team. This is more than a management role – it’s an opportunity to influence the direction of an ambitious service and to see the difference your work makes every single day. Joining SHP means not only developing your own career in a growing, dynamic organisation, but also playing a vital part in changing the story for homeless Londoners, creating the chance for healthier, more independent futures.

About you:

Demonstratable experience in people management.
Knowledge of health needs and systemic barriers in accessing health care those experiencing homelessness face.
Experience and knowledge of working with external partners and funders.
Demonstratable knowledge on data collection, including design, reporting and evaluating.
Ability to manage and organise priority tasks and timing.
About us:

Single Homeless Project is a London-wide charity. Our vision is of a society where everyone has a place to call home and the chance to live a fulfilling life.

We help single Londoners by preventing homelessness, providing support and accommodation, promoting wellbeing, enhancing opportunity, and being a voice for change. From supporting people in crisis to helping people take the final steps towards independence and employment, we make a difference to 12,000 lives every year across all 32 boroughs.

We offer you more than a job; we offer you a chance to be part of a compassionate, driven team that's committed to making a real difference in people's lives. You'll have the opportunity to lead, co-create, and inspire change while enjoying a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Join us in creating a brighter, more hopeful future for individuals in need.
