Join our dedicated HCC Care and Support Team as a System Support Officer, and bring your technical expertise and passion for digital systems to a role that will support and make a real difference in our care homes across North Hampshire.

This role offers strong opportunities for career development, especially if you have hands-on experience in care settings and are confident using Care technologies such as Nourish and Quinyx. If you have a strong understanding of the care environment and are enthusiastic about using technology to make a meaningful impact on the quality of care, this could be the perfect step for you.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for system support, ensuring our digital care systems run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining equipment, resolving technical issues, and empowering staff through training and coaching.

What you’ll do:
• Provide first-line support for care systems and applications across multiple Hampshire County Council Care locations, which you’ll need to travel to in the north of the county.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in person, virtually, or over the phone, and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
• Conduct regular audits on systems and equipment within our care homes to ensure all digital equipment is functional and up to date.
• Support the rollout of new applications, equipment and technologies and train and coach care staff on system usage and digital best practices.
• Create and distribute reports, including CQC-ready reports and Power BI dashboards.
• Act as a Super User for multiple systems, ensuring consistent and effective use across sites.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong computer literacy and a good understanding of the digital care management platforms Nourish and Quinyx.
• Working knowledge of Office 365 and digital communication tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including with external contractors.
• Experience in training or coaching others in a technical or care setting.
• A proactive problem-solver with a flexible approach to travel and support needs.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Why join us:
• Work in a varied and dynamic role where no two days are the same.
• Help improve the quality of care for residents by ensuring staff have the digital tools and knowledge they need.
• Make a meaningful impact by supporting the digital transformation of care services.
• Access to Health Assured's comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme to support your physical and mental wellbeing, including 24/7 telephone support, a suite of online resources, and legal and financial advice.
• A competitive benefits package that includes generous annual leave entitlement, occupational sick pay, and access to the Local Government Pension Scheme. Find more information here.
