Torus is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you’ll play
a key role in ensuring the Group’s financial position is reported accurately and on time. You’ll be responsible for producing
clear, timely and insightful financial reports, as well as providing ad-hoc analysis to support effective decision-making across
the organisation. Working closely with budget holders, you will help build confidence in their numbers and support them in
achieving their commercial goals. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across all areas of Management Accounting

What you will be doing:




* Assist the Management Accountant in the provision of monthly management accounts.
* Support with the documentation and implementation of appropriate financial controls, policies and procedures.
* Assist with the completion and monitoring of balance sheet reconciliations.
* The role requires a determined finisher, problem solver, and a confident communicator, who can understand and convey financial
information to non-finance stakeholders. You will create and maintain good working relationships with budget holders and
finance colleagues.




What we are looking for:




* A part qualified AAT (or equivalent).
* Committment to continued professional development.
* Experience of general ledger journal preparation, be capable of meeting tight deadlines and juggling multiple tasks.
* Have an understanding of accounting principles, have good numeracy and possess strong analytical skills.
* It is essential you have excellent Microsoft skills, particularly advanced level Excel, and an ability to understand and
organise high volumes of complex data.




Interview Process:




* The interview will involve ompetency-based questions and an excel assessment to assess your experience and suitability for the
role. Interviews will take place at our Liverpool office, week commencing 15th September 2025.
