Summary
- Attending to neonates admitted to the Neonates Unit.- Conducting ward rounds.- Assisting and supervising the Tier 1 (ST1-2/FY2) doctors in managing cases, attending or admitted to the NICU.- Tier 2 on call duties out of hours for neonatal emergencies and continuation of care of patients on the NICU.- Attending deliveries of extremely premature neonates, high risk deliveries and their immediate and after care management on the NICU.- Communication with parents.- Supervised outpatient clinical duties.- Cover for unexpected short term sickness of colleague.
