Are you an experienced and passionate educator with a commitment to supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming and inclusive school in Sheffield is seeking a skilled SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties).
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support individual learning plans.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.
Contribute to EHCP reviews and liaise with external agencies.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience working with children with SEN.
Strong understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
