We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in Newton Abbot who is seeking a reliable and hands-on Forklift Operative to join their friendly logistics team.
This is a physically active role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and thrives in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate forklifts to move stock between multiple on-site buildings.
- Stack and move wooden pallets as required.
- Complete daily forklift checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Support the waste and recycling operations across the site.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Pivot Truck Licence (must be in date).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Physically fit with a can-do attitude and a proactive approach to work.
- Monday to Friday.
- 08:30am to 5pm.
- Starting at £13.10 per hour (opportunity to increase with additional licences).
- Weekly pay.
- 33 days holiday after 12 weeks.
- Free on-site parking.
