Summary
We are a bespoke pattern book manufacturing company based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
We are currently looking to employ a guillotine operator to join our production team ensuring that jobs are completed on time and to a very high standard. The main task is to set up and run the guillotine from the specifications provided for each order ensuring the accuracy of cuts and the quality of finished products through visual inspection and measurement. You will be cutting fabrics, wallpaper, laminate flooring as well as paper and board.
You will be working with other team members to meet production deadlines and ensure smooth workflow.
A strong focus on accuracy and precision cutting and handling materials is vital.
You will perform routine maintenance and safety checks, maintaining a safe work environment.
Ideally, you will have experience in operating a guillotine, however full training will be given.
The pay rate will be relative to experience.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7am until 5pm. Overtime is available dependant upon the business needs.
