Summary

Byddwch yn gweithio ochr yn ochr â thîm o Swyddogion Gweithrediadau, gan gefnogi, ysbrydoli ac arwain arweinwyr DofE i sicrhau profiad cyson ac o ansawdd dda i’r bobl ifanc y maent yn eu cefnogi. Byddwch yn rheoli portffolio o bartneriaid presennol ym Merthyr Tudful a Rhondda Cynon Taf.

Byddwch yn gweithio gartref, ond bydd cyfuniad o ryngweithiadau wyneb yn wyneb ac ar-lein, a bydd angen ichi fod yn barod i deithio ar draws eich ardal. Efallai y bydd cyfarfodydd yn rhywle arall yng Nghymru, neu ledled y DU, y bydd gofyn ichi fod yn bresennol ynddyn nhw. Gallai’r rhain gynnwys aros dros nos yn achlysurol, a allai gynnwys dydd Sadwrn neu ddydd Sul.

Er na fyddwch yn gweithio’n uniongyrchol â phobl ifanc, byddwch yn teimlo’r boddhad o wybod eich bod yn cael effaith gadarnhaol ar eu cyfleoedd.

Mae’r Wobr DofE yn trawsnewidiol. Rydym yn gwybod bod brwdfrydedd a dyfalbarhad ar gyfer nodau hirdymor yn gysylltiedig â llwyddiant mewn addysg, bywyd a gwaith. Mae ein rhaglen wirfoddoli strwythuredig, a heriau corfforol a seiliedig ar sgiliau yn ysbrydoli, arwain a chefnogi pobl ifanc i gyflawni.

You will be working alongside a team of Operations Officers, supporting, inspiring and guiding DofE leaders to ensure a consistent and quality experience for the young people that they support. You’ll be managing a portfolio of existing partners in Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taff.

You will be home based, but there will be a mix of face to face and online interactions and, you will need to be prepared to travel across your patch. There may be meetings elsewhere in Wales, or across the UK, which you will be required to attend. These might include overnight stay on occasions, which could include a Saturday or Sunday.

Whilst you won’t be working directly with young people, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are having a positive impact on their opportunities.

The DofE Award is a game-changer. We know that perseverance and passion for long-term goals is linked to success in education, life and work. Our structured programme of volunteering, physical and skills-based challenges inspire, guide and support young people to achieve.

What we are looking for:

Rydym yn chwilio am unigolyn brwdfrydig, rhagweithiol, ac aelod tîm effeithiol i’n helpu ni i roi cyfle i ragor o bobl ifanc o bob cwr o Gymru gymryd rhan yn y DofE, yn enwedig y rhai o gefndiroedd amrywiol ac ymylol.

Mae’r gallu i gyfathrebu yn Gymraeg yn ysgrifenedig ac ar lafar yn ddymunol iawn ar gyfer y swydd hon, ond nid yw’n hanfodol. Rydym yn croesawu ceisiadau gan siaradwyr di-Gymraeg, y bydd disgwyl iddyn nhw ddangos dealltwriaeth o gyd-destun dwyieithog Cymru ac ymrwymiad i ddatblygu eu sgiliau Cymraeg.

Bydd angen ichi fod â sgiliau rhyngbersonol da i ymgysylltu â rhanddeiliaid mewnol ac allanol a meddu ar y sgiliau i ysbrydoli a dylanwadu arnynt i alluogi pobl ifanc i gymryd rhan yn DofE.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and effective team player to help us to give more young people from across Wales the chance to take part in the DofE, particularly those from diverse and marginalised backgrounds.

The ability to communicate in both written and spoken Welsh is highly desirable for this role, but not essential. We welcome applications from non-Welsh speakers, who will be expected to demonstrate an understanding of the bilingual context of Wales and a commitment to developing their Welsh language skills.

You will need to have good interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders and have the skills to inspire and influence them to enable young people to participate in DofE.
