Customer Service Claims Handler – Property Claims

As a Customer Service Claims Handler, you’ll be the voice of reassurance for customers making property insurance claims. With empathy, professionalism, and a positive attitude, you’ll guide them through the claims process, helping turn their house back into a home.

What You’ll Do
  • Take ownership of customer claims, providing support from start to finish


  • Manage telephone queries and administration tasks in a busy contact centre


  • Problem-solve and deliver solutions tailored to each customer’s situation


  • Keep accurate records and handle data with precision


  • Work collaboratively with clients, trades, and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes


    About You
    • A strong communicator – both verbal and written


    • Calm under pressure and empathetic in difficult situations


    • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills


    • Confident with Microsoft Office and accurate data entry


    • Experience in claims handling is advantageous, but strong customer service experience in fast-paced environments is equally valued


    • Maths and English GCSE (A–C or equivalent) required

        Working Hours
        • Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm (shift pattern)


        • Saturday morning rota, 9am – 1pm


        • 37.5 hours per week
