We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor with over 25 years of experience delivering high-quality projects for the UK's leading house builders. With a strong regional presence across Worcestershire and Oxfordshire, they are known for their collaborative approach and commitment to excellence.
As part of their continued growth, we are seeking a meticulous and proactive SHE Administrator to join their Health & Safety team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background in a high-volume environment and a passion for fostering a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue project documentation packs.
• Manage onboarding checks for new operatives and existing staff changing roles or locations.
• Co-ordinate and book required training and refresher courses.
• Support the wider H&S team in drafting and updating risk assessments.
• Maintain and update internal Health & Safety documents, records, and spreadsheets.
• Monitor and track expiring qualifications and certifications.
• Issue and maintain RAMS and project folders.
• Record and report accidents and incidents in compliance with HSE requirements.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping across all SHE systems.
• Provide general administrative support to the Health & Safety team as needed.
About You:
• Highly organised with excellent multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, changeable environment.
• Collaborative and professional in approach, with a strong team ethic.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
• Aware of GDPR practices and confident handling sensitive data.
• Previous experience in construction or health & safety administration (desirable but not essential).
