Summary


Are you passionate about delivering great care and supporting others to grow in their roles? We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Associate Educator to support and develop our Health and Therapy Assistants within the Urgent Community Response and Home First Teams at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust.

As a Senior Associate Educator, you’ll use your clinical knowledge and a recognised Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care to help shape and support the next generation of healthcare support workers within the Urgent Community Response and Home First Services. Working at a higher level of competence, you’ll contribute to high-quality patient care and play a key role in workforce development through mentoring, education, and clinical supervision.

Post based in Lancing however will involve supporting teams across West Sussex so travel between sites will be essential.

As a mentor and role model, you will support new starters undertaking the Care Certificate, contribute to the HCA training programme, and work both autonomously and alongside Practice Development Nurses and clinical assessors to sign off competencies and ensure the effective use of competency frameworks and documentation in practice. Your knowledge, leadership, and support will help maintain high standards of care and empower staff to grow and develop within their roles.
