Requirements
You will have HNC/SVQ3, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area.Responsibilities
You will be part of the Antisocial Behaviour Team to liaise with main partner agencies including Police Scotland, SARC, Community Safety Team, Tenancy & Estates and Homeless Services with a view to identifying emerging issues from within Dundee City boundaries and providing a suitable response; carry out enforcement action as required; to facilitate and manage formal mediation sessions as required; to deliver Community Education regarding antisocial behaviour within city schools and other educational facilities as requested.The Individual
You will have experience of working within social housing sector and significant experience of carrying out investigations and/or enforcement role within public authority. You will have knowledge of Antisocial Behaviour legislation, housing legislation and data protection legislation.Experience of applying guidance and legislation to make decisions, experience of managing a demanding caseload, experience of finding, implementing & carrying out problem solving techniques to achieve positive outcomes, experience of dealing with and managing challenging behaviour and situations and experience of building and maintaining excellent multi-agency working relationships is also essential.
In addition, you will have excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent customer care skills with a positive & enthusiastic attitude towards the public and colleagues along with organisational and interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
You will have experience and skills of using IT Management Systems and Microsoft Office Software.
You will have flexible approach and be willing to work out of hours as part of a rota.
A current driving licence and access to vehicle is essential.
