Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an inspirational and innovative individual with experience in Additional Support Needs (ASN) to take on the role of Principal Teacher of Language and Communication. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support a dedicated team, driving forward the development of our Autism Outreach Team and Language Provision across South Ayrshire.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide strategic leadership in language and communication support.
  • Work collaboratively with schools and partners to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Champion inclusive practice and help shape high-quality provision for learners with autism and communication needs.
  • Motivate and lead a skilled team, fostering innovation and professional growth.

REQUIREMENTS

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007.
