Summary
The Best Connection Bedford are currently recruiting Cleaning Operatives for a National cover facilities and catering management company for one of their large sites just outside of Bedford in Thurleigh.
The role will involve general cleaning of the site both indoors and outdoors of the venue, working collaboratively with the onsite team to maintain the highest standards of presentation and cleanlinesss for hospitality events throughout the seasons.
Responsibilities of the Cleaning Operative:
- Clean, mop, polish and sanitise the public and back of house areas of the site, replacing sundries, removing any litter and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness
- Spot clean where necessary, work with site cleaning operatives and present a friendly face to all site users whilst on duty
- Commit to regular shifts, opportunity for overtime during busier months
- Follow health and Safety and COSHH protocol at all times to maintain a safe environment
- Report any hazards/ issues immediately to site management
Requirements of the Cleaning Operative:
- Must live very local or have own reliable transport due to location and lack of public transport access
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferable
- Reliable and hardworking with the ability to prioritise tasks and adhere to cleaning schedule
- Physically fit as the role will involve walking around the site for the whole shift with some manual handling/heavy lifting required.
