About the Role
Are you an experienced Procurement Officer with a passion for building strong relationships and delivering results? We're looking for a proactive individual to manage an assigned caseload, source properties, and support our organisation in meeting its procurement targets.
This is a varied role where you'll travel to meet stakeholders and team members, manage property supply, and ensure compliance with company and legislative standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure properties for long-term contracts to meet organisational needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage the supply of properties through accommodation partners, ensuring adherence to service levels and standards.
- Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager and Head of Procurement to maximise portfolio efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with local authority regulations, UK legislation, and company policies.
- Handle property handovers, sign-offs, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Respond promptly to landlord, agent, and stakeholder enquiries via phone and email.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and procurement targets, ensuring service delivery excellence.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement across the department.
About You
We're seeking a motivated, organised, and commercially aware professional with experience in procurement, property sourcing, or stakeholder management.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement, property management, or housing services
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Knowledge of UK legislation related to housing and property compliance
- Ability to work independently and travel when required
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Basic IT skills for accurate record-keeping and reporting
