Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapists to join our ITU/ CCU / Cardiac/ Respiratory and Medical rotation in Bucks healthcare NHS Trust. Rotations are 9 months long and cover a wide range of areas across different sites within the Trust. The rotations are:
• ITU/ CCU / Cardio respiratory/ Medical wards - Wycombe Hospital
• ITU/ Respiratory /Medical wards - Stoke Mandeville Hospital
This role will suit someone who is motivated, flexible and hard-working, and keen to support patients to achieve their potential in rehabilitation. In all rotations the role is part of a well-established and supportive therapy team. There is a strong emphasis on staff development with support from Band 7 team leads on each rotation.
The post involves weekend working and a 7 day on call service as part of the Physiotherapy day & weekend service.
To perform assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and to provide advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
To participate in continuing professional and service development, and contribute to organisational objectives.
