Typical Day as a Lead Support Worker (we know it as a Support Coordinator)
Creating support plans with customers and coordinating a small team of Support Workers.
Assisting customers with daily activities like meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancy, and transitioning to independent accommodation.
Conducting risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews.
Enjoying cuppas, chats, and catch-ups with no rush between customers, allowing time for collaboration with colleagues.

You Bring
Passion for supporting customers to live their best lives, working collaboratively with attention to detail.
Experience in creating person-centred support plans and guiding colleagues to follow them.
Experience in coordinating and assessing customer referrals.
Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and maintain a resilient approach.
Flexible and caring nature, adaptable to sudden changes, and effective teamwork skills.
Strong communication skills to articulate complex problems and see them through to resolution.

Job Details
Flexible working hours in an agreed pattern.
Flexibility to meet customer needs, which may require adapting start or finish times occasionally.
Work pattern across a seven-day, four-week rolling rota, including alternate weekends.
The team works closely, lone working at times and regularly getting together for training and team meetings during working hours.
Strong IT skills required for creating and updating support plans, completing online learning, and collaborating with colleagues and partners. Attention to detail and strong written English skills are vital.
Enhanced DBS check required, which we will cover the cost for.
