Hourly rate and hours per week: £8.50 per hour

This apprenticeship is run in conjunction with our educational provider HIT training, the program lasts 10 - 12 months and involves no days at college. You will be required to meet deadlines and performance levels as set by the company and educational provider during your employment. You are also expected to enjoy your time with us, in return we will provide you with every opportunity to thrive in our industry!
A role as a chef can be a very rewarding and challenging career within the hospitality sector, its not all about cooking a steak and chopping onions though! This role will help you become an invaluable member of any hotel and restaurant, a true MVP!
What will I be doing?
From preparing our carvery items to serving a 3 course silver served wedding, you will be doing it all. Our team of expert chefs and your training coach will help develop your skills to master all areas of our kitchen. On top of that:
Detailed deep cleaning of the kitchen, who doesn’t love a spring clean (not necessarily in spring)?
We love our reputation for great service, so keeping standards high is key.
Monitoring stock levels and cleanliness, actioning what you see and taking ownership of the task.
Completing coursework, We know its not the fun part but it’s essential to help you become a fully qualified chef!
What are we looking for?
Someone who’s keen to learn with a passion for cooking, you need to be organised, dedicated and fun to work with. A kitchen is a fast paced environment and ours is no exception, you will need to be able to work alone and as part of the team to keep our guests happy and coming back for more.
