Summary

We're looking for a Skilled Operative to join our Water team based in Worcester for our Severn Trent Water contract.

Location: Worcester - site basedHours: 45 hours per week - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

What will you be responsible for?As a Skilled Operative, you'll be working within the Water team, supporting them in delivering a variety of civil engineering activities across both water and water recycling sites. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role where safety, quality, and performance are always the top priority.

What will your day to day in the role look like?

Your day to day will include:

-Carrying out a variety of site-based civil engineering tasks, including pipe laying, drainage, concrete works, and underground chamber construction.

-Operating plant and equipment such as excavators, dumpers, and rollers safely and effectively.

-Reading and interpreting drawings and plans to support accurate delivery on site.

-Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

-Supporting the timely delivery of projects in line with standards, regulations, and budgets.

What are we looking for?This role of Skilled Operative is great for you if you have:

-Knowledge and experience within the water industry, with skills in pipe laying, drainage, and deep drainage.

-A valid CSCS or EUSR card, plus a full driving licence.

-Confined space training (or willingness to undertake it) and tickets in areas such as NPORS Slinger Signaller, COSHH, or Advanced Scaffold Inspection.
