Summary
HR Provide HR support to all staff which may include but not limited to; electronic recording of absences and supporting the return-to-work processes, annual leave requests, ensuring probationary performance reviews and flexible working requests are actioned in a timely manner and supporting the Reception Team with general HR queries. Supporting management team with recruitment of staff including producing contracts and job descriptions. Ensure all staff DBS checks are up to date and electronically recorded. Supporting and monitoring all staff training needs including induction and mandatory training. Organisational oversight of appraisal process for all staff. Demonstrate approachability to all staff. Encourage personal staff development and motivation. Role model a friendly and happy workplace ensuring the wellbeing of all staff is supported. Quality and Compliance Be responsible for the surgery Health and Safety policy and its implementation. Oversee building maintenance and equipment including weekly and monthly checks. Oversee Infection control in the role of infection control lead. Implement and maintain all required CQC policies. Have oversight of all policies and procedures relevant to the smooth running of the practice, liaising with the management team to implement and embed them. Monitor and act on patient feedback including directly from patients and from sources such as FFT, GPPS, NHS choices etc. Administrative management of the complaints and significant events process. Liaise with patient groups and encourage the existence and development of the PPG to include the creation of a new youth PPG Taking a lead role in management of our social media presence and community engagement Be the administrative point of contact for students and registrars.
