Summary
Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for full details of responsibilities To fully deputise for the Chief Nurse across all aspects of the role. To provide professional leadership to all AHPs, and also nursing and other non-medical staff, promoting high standards of care and a responsive workforce. To lead on CQC compliance for the Trust, ensuring any key actions are fully implemented. To work with the Chief Nurse and the Medical Director on the development and implementation of the Trusts clinical quality strategic objectives. To effectively manage overall AHP staffing issues across the Trust. The post holder will support Patient Safety and clinical governance across the Trust, ensuring the implementation of national and local Quality and Safety initiatives and contractual obligations in relation to quality and safety reporting. The post holder will support the implementation and development of the clinical governance framework through Directorates, develop innovative solutions to quality and safety challenges and ensure lessons learned are embedded in practice. To support the implementation of national quality drivers arising from national enquiries, working with clinical leads and management teams. To lead on the implementation of the national AHP strategy within the Trust, and contribute to local and national strategies including Nursing, AHPs, Clinical Governance and Patient Safety by participating in external events and forums ensuring a visible CPFT profile. Contribute in the production of quality and safety assurance reports for Commissioners, Regulators, Sub Board Committees and the board
