We are working with a vibrant and inclusive high school in Preston who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Specialist to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity with the potential to become a long-term or permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Support students with behavioural needs across KS3 and KS4
- Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies
- Develop and implement behaviour support strategies and interventions
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor progress and contribute to individual behaviour plans
About You:
- Experience working with young people with behavioural or SEMH needs (in schools or similar settings)
- Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- A team player with a proactive attitude
- Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management (desirable but not essential)
