Summary
Prepare surfaces by stripping old paint, sanding, filling cracks, and sealing joints.
Apply primers, undercoats, gloss, emulsions, and other paints to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and metalwork.
Hang wallpaper and apply specialist finishes when required.
Use brushes, rollers, and spray-painting equipment for different applications.
Mix and match paints to achieve the desired colour and texture.
Protect surrounding areas with dust sheets and maintain a tidy workspace.
Follow drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Ensure compliance with UK health and safety regulations.
