Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a pleasant atmosphere for both staff and clients. Experience within a Factory / Warehouse is essential.
Very clean environment. Our client builds MRI scanners on site.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including Factory, offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, ensuring all areas are free from dirt and debris.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while adhering to health and safety regulations. Must be able to move large Waste bins so some Heavy lifting is expected.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and well-maintained.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is an advantage.
Pay £12.60p/h
Shift 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday
There is availability to work extra shifts regularly during the weekend which pays £17.00 p/h
