An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced service manager to join our Cared for Children service.
About the role
You will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Cared for Children service, and you will specifically have oversight of our Court team and Family Time service. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, timely, child-centred practice, effective performance management, and compliance with statutory responsibilities, including the Public Law Outline.
You will work closely with Heads of Service, peer Service Managers, Team Managers, and multi-agency partners to embed a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and innovation. Our Court team has recently been implemented, and the successful applicant will be expected to continue to embed the team within the wider service, improving collaboration with key partners, such as the Court, Cafcass and our legal services.
The successful candidate will:
Be passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes for cared for children

Have extensive experience of being a service manager for children and young people
