Apollo Teaching Services is currently recruiting dedicated and caring Teaching Assistants for 1:1 roles across schools in the Rhondda Cynon Taff area. These positions involve working closely with pupils who require additional support due to additional learning needs (ALN), behaviour, or emotional challenges — helping them to engage, learn, and thrive in the classroom.

What the role involves:
• Supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day
• Following individual learning and behaviour plans
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Helping the pupil build confidence, independence and communication skills
• Assisting with classroom activities and routine tasks
• Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment

✅ What we’re looking for:
• A kind, patient, and proactive attitude
• Ability to build positive relationships with children
• Reliable and confident working with children who may have ALN or challenging behaviours
• Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
• EWC registration (or willingness to register)
