Summary

Repairs Manager
Full-time (37 Hours) –Permanent
D1 - £48,409 - £53,315 per annum (this includes 13% market supplement)

North Kesteven District Council is seeking an experienced professional to join the Property Management team; This post puts you at the heart of a department which is critical in the delivery of the Council’s services through providing effective repairs and maintenance to Council tenants homes.

Job Requirements:
• A Professional qualification in building management or similar OR substantial experience within this working environment may be considered as equivalent
• Ability to effectively lead a team
• Budget management and financial reporting. Good understanding of Contracts using a schedule of rates.
• Deliver and manage construction related projects
• A solid understanding of Damp & mould and Awaabs Law

Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering an efficient repairs and maintenance service
• Managing regulatory and health and safety legislation compliance
• Relationship management with the customer and third party contractor
• Ensuring continuous improvement in tenant satisfaction and service

• Competent across all aspects of repairs and maintenance

You will be required to apply a high level of conscientiousness when carrying out this role, to support the delivery of the Repairs and Maintenance department at a management level and show an appreciation of the contribution local government can make to the welfare of the people living, working, and visiting the district.
