Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, where your input will directly influence the success of key refurbishment projects. You'll be working on a variety of planned refurbishment programmes within tenanted social housing, covering works such as kitchen and bathroom upgrades, window and door replacements, and roofing projects. The role involves a balance of office-based tasks, site visits, and remote work, giving you flexibility while staying connected to the core team.
Key Responsibilities:

Track project progress and flag any changes that may affect budget or timelines

Work with Contract Managers to understand and deliver against project specifications

Process and approve subcontractor payments accurately and on time

Support budget control and financial forecasting for ongoing works

Submit monthly valuations and applications for payment to the client or their representative

Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection

Attend internal and external meetings, contributing insight and fostering strong relationships

Play a role in procurement, supporting the tendering and estimating process as needed
