Summary

The Azure Charitable Foundation’s Employment Services department has an exciting vacancy!

Working with economically inactive clients with disability including people with neuro-diverse conditions, we improve their employability and support clients to move closer to and into sustainable employment (where appropriate). We have roles covering the whole of the North East Combined Authority area (Northumberland, North Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside, Sunderland, County Durham).

Our programmes also support individuals to engage with volunteering opportunities and as well as gaining valuable experience through meaningful and engaging work placements.

We are looking for applicants with energy and enthusiasm to support others, to fill full-time positions (initially until end March 2026 with the possibility of an extension and/or permanent employment).

Do you have the skills to support someone with a disability on their journey towards employment and in to work?

Do you have the skills, experience and excellent communication liaising with employers to generate paid employment opportunities, work experience placements, source volunteering opportunities, arrange site visits and taster days.
Are you adaptable and flexible in your approach?

Can you manage a caseload, do you have good time management skills, good at managing a petty cash float and accurate with record keeping?

Are you person centred yet have the drive to achieve targets in a fast paced environment?

Do you have additional skills to further enhance our existing strong team?
