Summary
As an experienced Practice Nurse at Churchside you will play a crucial role in providing high quality care to our patients. You must be friendly, patient focussed, calm and organised, as well as someone who communicates well with people at all levels. We are seeking someone who provides compassionate care and has attention to detail. Ideally you will have experience working with SystmOne, but full training can be provided. In terms of your clinical capabilities, you should be someone who can confidently deal with the following patient needs; 1) Monitor Patient Vital Signs and record medical information accurately 2) Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care 3) Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate care 4) Cytology 5) Baby Immunisations 6) Administer vaccines and medications as needed 7) Chronic Disease Management (at least one; Diabetes, COPD, Asthma) 8) Educate Patients on health management and lifestyle choices And when needed; 9) Assisting with ordering & stock takes 10) Phlebotomy 11) Dealing with Samples 12) Wound Dressings 13) Assist in Minor Surgical Procedures Further details regarding the role will be discussed with the individual at interview stage.
