Summary
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the cleanliness of deity housing and associated drainage areas
• Assist in decorating the deities for rituals and festivals
• Support the priest during services and rituals
• Prepare all items needed by the priest for Abhishekams
• Prepare prasadam (prasadh) for both deities and devotees
• Participate in and assist with temple events such as:
• Homams and Shirdi Sai Baba Pooja preparation - prepare all items for each individual Homam for the priest, items for all deities and Sai Baba
• Assist the priest with all items for the Hindu ceremony and festival
• Assist with Hindu remembrance ceremonies
• Rituals per Hindu traditions
Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role assisting priests in a reputable temple
• Strong working knowledge of Shirdi Sai Baba and Hindu traditions and temple rituals
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing temple ceremonies
• Ability to engage respectfully with religious workers from diverse backgrounds
• Capability to respond to devotee inquiries in a respectful, non-pastoral manner
