A commitment to innovation, inclusion, and excellence
What You’ll Gain

A chance to shape preventative interventions and lead operational teams.
We welcome applications from suitably qualified, experienced and passionate Clinical Psychologists ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
Psychological Professions in Training
As the Clinical and Operational Lead, you will oversee the team supporting trainees across the Psychological Professions. Working under the professional and operational leadership of the Trust Lead for Psychological Services and Professions, your role will be pivotal in maintaining and enhancing the systems and relationships that support trainees throughout CWPT.
These trainees are integral to the delivery of psychological services across the Trust, and your leadership will ensure a robust pipeline of skilled professionals to serve our communities. You will provide strategic direction and operational management for all aspects of the team, collaborating closely with academic institutions, Health Education England, and regional partners across the West Midlands. This includes coordination with those hosting Trainee Clinical Psychologists and other Psychological Professions in Training, as well as service leads and corporate stakeholders.
Staff Psychological Wellbeing
You will lead the delivery of timely, effective psychological support for CWPT staff, ensuring access to high-quality care across the organisation and, where appropriate, the wider system. This includes overseeing services that provide psychological therapy and interventions for staff experiencing distress, as well as designing and implementing preventative and proactive wellbeing initiatives.
Your leadership will be central to creating a psychologically safe and supportive working environment, enabling staff to thrive even in the face of challenging and emotionally demanding circumstances.
