An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, RCVS accredited hospital in Loughborough. This friendly and progressive practice is proud to run its own out-of-hours service, ensuring continuity of care for its loyal client base. With a superb, spacious, purpose built hospital featuring six operating theatres, multiple consulting rooms, an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, and separate cat, dog, and exotic wards, the practice provides an exceptional environment to deliver high quality veterinary medicine.

The practice is home to a fantastic team of 11 experienced vets supported by over 20 qualified and highly skilled nurses, creating a collaborative and nurturing workplace. With a caseload and equipment to rival any referral centre, and with certificate holders already in the team, this is the perfect setting for vets looking to develop their expertise, pursue a certificate, or simply enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload.

This role would ideally suit a veterinary surgeon who has already built up confidence in routine consultations and surgery, but the practice’s extensive clinical experience also means they can provide excellent mentorship and support for a new graduate looking for their first role. With superb staff retention and a long standing client base, this is a practice where colleagues stay, grow, and thrive.

For the right candidate, this role offers not only a supportive and stimulating clinical environment but also the chance to work in a practice that truly values its team and invests in their future!
