Great opportunity to work as a General Operative for our client’s dynamic production team, this is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, global company that values quality, precision, and continuous development.
Staffline is recruiting General Operative in Loughborough.
Overtime may be available based on production needs – paid at enhanced rate!
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, and the hours of work are:
- Monday – Thursday: 07:45 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 07:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- Night shift hours may also be available for this role with enhanced rates
Your Time At Work:
As a General Operative you will be responsible for:
- Reading build instructions and assembling retail displays
- Using hand tools and adhesives
- Quality checking, packing, and loading finished goods
- Moving between areas on site
Our Perfect Worker:
Our perfect worker will have the following skills:
- Very good level of English (essential for following technical manuals)
- Experience working with tools (i.e. screwdrivers, glue guns)
- Assembly, packing, or production background (non-food)
- Strong attention to detail and visual awareness (artwork, finishing)
- Comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to move across departments as needed
- Keen to learn, with a can-do attitude and good memory (photographic memory is a plus)
- Training will be provided to strong candidates who show the right attitude and willingness to learn
