Summary
Morson Talent are recruiting for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a leading aerospace company in Burnley.
Pay: £18.25 per hour PAYE / £24.36 per hour Umbrella
Location: Burnley
Schedule: Monday to Friday – Days (with potential to move onto nights or change of shift pattern)
The role:
You will be working as part of the Sheet Metal Components Team, manufacturing high-quality components using materials such as steel, aluminium, and titanium. Following engineering drawings, templates, and fixtures, you’ll be responsible for marking out, drilling, cutting, and forming parts to specification using a mix of hand techniques and mechanical aids such as guillotines, folders, shrinkers, and forming wheels.
What we’re looking for:
Time-served apprenticeship in Sheet Metal Work OR NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3
Strong practical skills and experience using sheet metal tools and equipment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality focus
