Salary: £38,000 to £44,000 basic per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Trailer Fitter to join a market-leading commercial vehicle company in Southampton. Key Responsibilities of an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / Trailer Fitter
Carry out routine servicing, inspections and repairs on HGV trailers
Diagnose faults using EBS systems including WABCO, HALDEX and KNORR BREMSE
Complete all documentation and service records accurately and promptly
Deliver high-quality workmanship and support excellent customer service
Maintain a clean, safe and compliant workshop environment
Attend training including IRTEC, tail lift, axle and brake system courses
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Fitter
Essential
Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic, Trailer Technician, or HGV Fitter
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
Desirable
HGV Class 1 licence
IRTEC accreditation
Strong diagnostics experience with HALDEX, WABCO, KNORR BREMSE
Welding certification
Experience with BPW, SAF, or JOST axles
Tail lift and double deck trailer servicing experience
