On the Great Western Railway (GWR) contract, our Projects Team delivers a wide range of works to keep rail infrastructure running smoothly. We are looking for a proactive and organised Project Support to join our team and help keep our projects on track.
As a Project Support, you'll be at the heart of our Projects Team—supporting project managers and engineers by keeping processes running smoothly and documentation accurate. Your responsibilities will include:
-Assisting in the preparation of project quotes, ensuring all details are accurate and timely.
-Maintaining and updating project spreadsheets to track budgets, progress, and resources.
-Raising purchase orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure goods and services are delivered on schedule.
-Supporting the invoicing process by collating necessary documentation and ensuring prompt submission.
-Acting as a point of contact for administrative queries within the Projects Team.
-Ensuring compliance with Mitie and GWR procedures and systems.
We're looking for someone who's:
-Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
-Comfortable working with numbers and financial processes.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
-A confident communicator, both written and verbal.
-Able to work independently while being a strong team player.
-Previous experience in an administrative, finance, or project support role is an advantage.
