Summary
Job objectives and responsibilities
The Project Manager will be responsible for contributing to the management and delivery of the transformation project for the LSBU account across the Security and Front of House division, valued at C£2.5million per annum. The Transformation project manager will be responsible for leading the transformation project, requiring a reduction in Mitie headcount across both Security and Front of house, whilst still delivering operational excellence and ensuring compliance across all sectors. The project manager will need to be detail orientated with a strict time keeping ability to ensure the project is delivered in full by October 2025. The role will see you working alongside the LSBU Account Management Team, the Signature Front of House management team and the Regional Security Management Team to create, monitor and deliver the project which will include (but not limited to) account restructuring, HR consultations and processes, cost management, ensuring compliance to SIA licensing requirements and ensuring adequate training is scheduled and provided in order to deliver the proposed transformation and restructure. The Project manager must ensure a collaborative approach is taken across all service lines to ensure that a ‘One Mitie' approach is delivered. Main duties
•Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and exhibit the required level of leadership and drive to deliver•Maintain strong lines of communication and relationship with the LSBU account management team.•Demonstrated skill in managing mobilisation, transformation plans and account plans, inline with budget requirements.•Profient in sharing transformation timeline with stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are being met, in line with expectations.•Strong understanding of Project Works and delivery within the education sector, including the challenges and regulations specific to universities.•Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels.•Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets within a key account role.•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.•Proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.•Flexibility to travel as required to meet with stakeholders and attend meetings at the LSBU site (9 Sites across London.•Ensuring compliance on Mitie sites from site managers through Mitie Policies and Procedures.•Build and maintain key relationships at all levels (internal and external).•Overseeing the governance of schemes through from conception to completion as a Project Manager.•Promoting a ‘team ethic' with valuable problem solving and decision-making skills.•The ability to influence and negotiate with all stakeholders, external suppliers and company leaders to ensure needs are identified, addressed and executed.•Ensuring action owners are accountable and take ownership for their roles, responsibilities, behaviours and actions, ensuring the project timeline is adhered to at all times.•Championing four pillars - H&S - People - Commercial - Quality
