Summary
● Determine the necessary quantities of underlayment, tiles, slates, or thatching material by measuring the roof or external walls.
● For installation, cut the felt, underlayment, and wooden battens to the appropriate sizes.
● To make a strong basis, lay down and attach underlayment and coat it with hot bitumen or other adhesive compounds.
● In accordance with the design specifications, lay, align, and fasten successive overlapping layers of roofing material.
● To stop leaks and water damage, use mortar to seal the roof's edges and make sure all seams are waterproof.
