We are recruiting for a Service Advisor to join the team here at our Mercedes-Benz dealership located in Deeside!
In this busy and important role you will be the first point of contact for our customers in relation to any service queries or requests. You will work closely with the parts warehouse and workshop, as well as the Sales and Accounts teams to ensure we deliver the highest standard of work and customer service to drive repeat custom.

Package Details:
• Competitive salary, depending on experience
• Based onsite in Deeside
• 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, alternating weekly shifts of 07:00 – 15:30 / 09:30 – 18:00, with Saturdays when required
• 23 days’ holiday each year plus bank holidays
• Permanent
• Bonus scheme

• Training & Development - Annual appraisal programmes, progression opportunities and ongoing training and development
About The Job:
• Warmly welcoming and assisting incoming customers, both new and existing
• Evaluating customer needs on servicing or repair requirements and taking receipt of the vehicle to be booked into workshop
• Carrying out initial vehicle inspections
• Creating job cards and compiling detailed invoices for all works carried out, guaranteeing transparency and accuracy in billing
• Booking in vehicles on Kerridge
• Liaising between workshop and the customer to ensure customer is kept informed of the status of their vehicle, including any potential delays
• Arranging vehicle collection with the customer once the job is complete, facilitating the vehicle walk through, handover and payment
• Maintaining accurate customer details to ensure the customer database is up to date
• Upselling any additional products or services that we can offer to customers
About You:
• Previous experience in a similar Service role, ideally in a main dealership environment
• Previous experience in a customer facing role
• Experience with Kerridge or other similar automotive industry system (desirable)
• Experience in a varied and fast-paced environment
• An understanding of commercial motor vehicles (desirable)
• Experience of upselling products and services (desirable)
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• Strong administrative IT skills
