Summary

What you'll do:



  • Interpret client briefs and produce CAD drawings to specification and budget.

  • Create visualisations, renders, and Photoshop mock-ups of signage in location.

  • Prepare technical drawings for manufacture using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Illustrator, and InDesign.

  • Maintain document control and manage file versions accurately.

  • Produce accurate cutting files, dimensions, and production-ready artwork.

  • Work with a variety of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, acrylics, and vinyls.

  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, budgets, and project standards.


What you've done:



  • Worked as a Signage Draftsperson / CAD Technician / Signage Designer.

  • Produced both concept visualisations and production-ready technical drawings.

  • Used industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Illustrator, InDesign (CorelDRAW/SignLab desirable).

  • Gained experience in signage fabrication processes and materials.

  • Delivered accurate, on-time design packs within project budgets.
