Location: Based at one of the following depots. Weatherhill Depot (RH6 9JE), Ford Depot (BN18 0DF) or Marley Lane Depot (TN33 0RE).

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Days

What will you be responsible for?

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you'll be working within the Kier Highways team, supporting them in delivering essential maintenance and improvement works across the local road network.

Your day to day will include:

-Operating light plant machinery such as compressors, rollers, and disc cutters, including daily maintenance checks

-Assisting skilled operatives with kerbing, drainage, paving, surfacing, and repair works

-Excavating soil, rock, asphalt, and concrete using hand and powered tools

-Performing general site duties including sweeping, cleaning, litter picking, and handling materials



What are we looking for?

This role of Highways Maintenance Operative is great for you if:

-Experience in highway maintenance or similar field

-You have a can-do attitude and are willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions

-Full UK driving licence
