Summary
The Job Description and Person Specification are attached to this job, please review for the full details and responsibilities Mandatory participation in a clinical on-call rota for community . Identify inappropriate staffing levels/skill mix and take remedial action. Develop and enhance skills as required in line with service developments. Deploy staff to the level of their ability when allocating caseloads and recognise the need for adjustment as the workload and caseload alters. Take responsibility for the organisation of midwifery caseload assigned to each team in conjunction with the outpatient Matron. Promote the wellbeing and safeguarding of children and young people by implementing the Trusts policy and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately. Adhere to local and national legislation, protocols and guidance. Ensure policies and guidelines are embedded and consistently followed within the unit contributing to their development. Participate/lead in clinical audit and research to improve the planning and delivery of midwifery services.
