Our Medicines Management Service at the Barnstaple site of Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic registered pharmacy technician to join our forward-thinking team. We are looking to recruit two Band 5 pharmacy technician's who already holds an accredited checking qualification and a medicines management qualification. However, if youre a newly qualified or registered pharmacy technician eager to develop your skills, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work towards a Band 5 post and gain these qualifications within 6-12 months of appointment, with full support from our experienced team. Please note, there is one permanent position vacant now and one fixed term position that will be vacant soon. As a key member of our multidisciplinary and clinical teams, youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality pharmacy and medicines management services, ensuring the best possible care for our patients. Your work will include providing a ward-based service to medical and surgical wards, as well as supporting the dispensary team to enhance patient safety and experience. Time Pay Band Key Responsibilities Month 0 4 Enrol on MOTP Unit 2.2 Discharge Facilitation. Begin supervised practice in discharge-related tasks. Month 3-12 5 Successfully complete training programme. Demonstrate full competence in discharge facilitation. Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week with occasional weekend and Bank Holiday working Interview Date: Week Commencing 8th September Please note, 1 position is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
