Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We are seeking a Deputy Finance Manager to support the Women’s Cardiac, Clinical and Sexual Health Division, delivering high-quality financial and management accounting services.
This key role involves providing expert financial input, advice, and support across the division, ensuring timely and accurate month-end reporting, business planning, and Cost Improvement Plan (CIP) analysis and costing.
The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative and supportive finance team environment, with opportunities for professional development and to contribute meaningfully to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Trust’s financial operations.
This post is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction, professional leadership, and operational management within the organisation. The successful post holder will report directly to the Managing Director of Improvement Networks, with an explicit
operational remit to ensure and assure the consistent scoping, launch, delivery, and closure of Improvement Networks portfolio of projects and programmes managing budgetary requirements and financial oversight.
Improvement Networks provides a diverse range of support to organisations with three key
areas being:
• Diagnosis, solutions, and implementing change - creation of solutions, and
implementation of change programmes related to workforce and education policy.
Programmes may be delivered face to face or virtually.
• Developing workforce and educational leadership capability –Work with organisations
to ensure they have effective governance and stakeholder support for any change
programmes which may impact staff ways of working or organisational planning.
• Workforce and Education Network development - Ensuring local leaders are supported
to collaborate within local organisations and across integrated care systems.
