Summary
Start date: As soon as possible after the closing date Hours/weeks: 37 hours per week (8 till 4 Mon to Thurs, 8 till 3.30 Friday), term-time only, working 39 weeks per year (Including Teacher Development Days)The RoleThe Corsham School Academy Group seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Pastoral Support Assistant to join the school’s dedicated team of Pastoral Support. The successful applicant will provide effective and efficient pastoral support to students in order to promote positive attitudes to learning and to behaviour that maximises the achievement and wellbeing of all students.Ideally the post would suit an experienced individual, but we would also welcome applications from someone willing to learn and develop in the role.The post holder will be under the direction of the Pastoral Support Manager and the overall direction of the Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for pastoral support.Carry out induction processes for new arrivals.Investigate behavioural incidents, organising statements and record them electronically.Support in the organisation of presentation evenings and track and monitor rewards data.Monitor and plan interventions on behavioural data.Potential candidates for this role are warmly invited to visit the school, please contact Samantha Pritchard.The SchoolThe Corsham School is part of a small Multi Academy Trust serving the market town of Corsham and surrounding villages.
