Summary
Gwernyfed High School is a dynamic and inclusive school located in the heart of Brecon, dedicated to ensuring that every pupil has the support and opportunity to achieve their full potential. We are currently seeking to add a dedicated part-time Assistant ALNCo to the team.The successful candidate will be required:To co-ordinate the ALN team to provide a range of intervention and support programmes for the intervention team for pupils to academic and social progressTo monitor and assesses the impact of intervention (ULP and bespoke)
To take a lead on ALN administration and reviews as agreed with the DHT and ALNECO
To work as part of an extended Safeguarding Team (including the Designated Safeguarding Leader, and assistants) the post-holder will lead the school’s safeguarding provision and be the main point of contact for safeguarding issues for pupils, parents, carers, staff and governorsPlease see the Job Description for further information
