Summary

The Best Connection are actively recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers, including newly qualified drivers, for general haulage work across the UK. This role involves working with a variety of trailer types including curtain siders, refrigerated units, and containers, offering a great opportunity to build experience and grow within a supportive and reputable transport team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 vehicles for general haulage using curtain side, fridge, and container trailers
- Carry out deliveries and collections nationwide
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured safely
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Comply with all driving laws, tachograph rules, and working time regulations
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- New passes welcome - full training and support provided
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DR, DD, or IN convictions)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Willingness to work with various trailer types
- Good communication and time management skills
- A safety-first mindset and professional attitude
